Charon sat on the edge of his boat wearing a tight black shirt and black skinny jeans, pulling out a battered old violin out from it's case on the floor of the boat. He kicked his leg before stilling and beginning to play a slow waltz, before changing to happy plucky lullaby, then to something dark and a little dangerous. He sang along with the last song his voice a soft timber rising and falling as he sang. He let it tapper off he finished the song and started another not singing this time just playing the song on the violin. He finished the song and stood on the bow.
He started playing again humming to himself as a ghosts coming up to the boat, the floated around and along with swirls of color and melody, his body started to let off a dark swirls, as he played. He slowly stopped playing before placing it back in the case. He picked up his leather jacket and placing it back on, before picking up his heavy black cloak and putting it on and pulling up the hood, when it was on it looked like his face was a skull.
He walked over to the wheel of the boat, steering it towards the dock and mooring it before putting down the plank and letting the ghosts on after they paid their due, which he disappeared to his store. "That's enough." He tells them, growling and bearing his teeth at a ghost who didn't pay attention to him, he pulled up the plank and heading back to the wheel growling and pushing his way though the ghosts. He pushed away a ghost who got to close to him, and steered it towards the fields of judgment dropping them off before heading back and mooring his boat back at the dock.

Haven walked along the banks of the River Styx, watching as Charon ushered the dead onto his boat. He had never quiet managed to get the nerve to talk to the older god but had spent a bit of time watching him as he wandered around his home. Habin knew he wasn't really allowed to go around the underworld alone but his parents had never caught him and he had yet to be hurt by anything so he thought he was fine. Habin moved to join the line of dead souls trying to board the boat. He felt it was time he tried yo talk to Charon.

Charon crossed his arms when Haben approached him, he lent against the side of his boat watching him. "You realize that your parents will flip out when they realize that you've been hanging around in the underworld." He tells him, he had seen Haben running around the underworld and also watching him, he had found it strange no one wanted to be around him or watch him but to each there own. "But since I'm not your parents I don't care what you do, only that if you get on my boat I need some money because I don't work for free."

Haben shrugged, "I have done it before and they haven't found out yet. How can I learn to control the darkness if I am not around it properly?", he replied. He pulled a drachma out of his pocket, "one enough or is it extra for the undead?", he asked with a cheeky grin. He had more on him just in case, they where part of his allowance which he never got the time to spend anyway. "I appreciate you not telling my parents because if you do I won't get the chance to keep you company again. It must get boring only having dead souls to talk too."

"I don't mind just the dead they can be very entertaining." He tells him with a bland look, resisting the urge to roll his eyes at Haben, he had had every soul from history on his boat at one time or another, and the stories that they could tell were endless, he especially liked when the old ones came back and told stories of the old days he could listen to them for ages. "Hmmm it might be enough but who knows, I may slip when talking to your parents." He says with the same bland look, but his eyes subtly twinkled telling of the fun he was having with the boy, which was funny because he didn't usually like to talk to anyone.

Haben also found the dead could be interesting or he wouldn't be wondering the underworld but he wouldn't let that on. He shrugged slightly and said, "Each to their own I suppose." Haben frowned slightly when Charon asked for more money from him, so he was going to play games like all the other gods. "Well how much will it cost me to keep you from slipping up with my parents?", he asked before a smirk crossed his face as an idea came to him. "Of course if you did tell them without doing your best to return me home safely, you would probably be in even more trouble then me. I could of course be persuaded to not tell them I ever spent time with you if they ever find out about my trips in the underworld."

Charon pouted at him, before grinning at him. "You win this one." He tells him, waving his hand to pull the gangplank up before heading towards the fields of punishment ignoring Haben as he slowly guided the ship away from the shore. "So, show us some of these darkness powers that you have been working on when you creep down here." He asks interested in what the other god had been doing when he was down here though Charon didn't want to admit it he had been curious about what Haben had been doing when he was down here because not many wanted to come down into Hell.

Haben grinned and slipped the coins back into his pocket, glad that he had managed to out fox the older god. It sometimes came in handy to have a King as his father, even if it was sometimes painful and restricting, he thought as he jumped to sit on the railing of the boat. Haben looked at the ghosts around him before calling on the powers he had been working on strengthening. He called the shadows of the underworld to him, "I am still not as strong as my sister, but I am better then I once-", he cut off as he noticed movement in the ghosts around him. He panicked, having no powers over the ghosts and lost hi balance on the railing, tumbling into the river styx.

"Shit." Charon cursed as he watched the boy fall over the edge, he rushed over leaning out he stared intently at the water hoping that the boy surfaced soon so that he could use his powers to pull him out and hopefully fix whatever was wrong before anyone found out because he really didn't want to deal with a steaming mad Hades and Iian because when one of them was mad it was scary if both of them were mad everyone was running for the hills because they were positively demonic when they were both mad. Seeing the boy surface he used his powers to raise him from the water and float him onto the deck of the boat before he knelt down beside him and checked if he was breathing.

Haben fell into the water and the current pulled him under. He fought to get to the surface but it was like the river had other plans. He could feel the rivers power seeping into his body and sub consciously started pushing some through the path in his mind that lead to his sister, when the power started to become to much. He felt as if his body was turning to lead and the moment he finally pushed through and surfaced, he lost consciousness. He woke up a few moments later to see Charon kneeling beside him and moved to sit up, noticing just how different....how his body felt bigger. He felt drained, even after all the power that had been absorbed by his body. He looked at Charon, fear showing slightly in his eyes for the first time the night. The river had aged him and he was worried about how his fathers would act.

"Umm I don't know what to say." He tells him with a regretful look. "I don't know what you are going to tell your parent's either, but I'm going to say that honesty would probably be the best policy, but it's really up to you maybe tell them you wanted to get aged but then they might feel bad that you didn't go to them, for them to age you." He tells him with a helpless shrug. He was really bad at this talking to living people thing, he stuck with the dead they were easier to understand and work with.

Haben looked at the older god, taking in what he said and nodded. He knew his parents would be upset with him sneaking out into the underworld alone, "I think honesty in the only way to go", he replied, seeing the wisdom in the advice. "I think they will see through any lie I try to tell them on this one. At least my sister should be okay. I can't have hurt her to can I?", he asked the older god, remember the power that had seemed to seep through their bond. He really hoped he hadn't brought this on his sister too. Haben shakily got to his feet on limbs that he wasn't used too.

"I don't know maybe you should check on her first? That way you can make a decide what to do?" He asked with a shrug, wondering what to say, he walked over to the helm steering it towards the land so that Haben could get off and go do what he wanted making it someone else's problem, he didn't want to get into trouble with Hades or Iian. "So go find your sister and tell your parents and maybe come and see me when you get ungrounded." He tells him not trying to sound hopeful that he would come back and talk to him he got lonely down here all by himself but didn't like going up to the topside.

Haben nodded, he needed to check on Hailey. He had felt some of the power seep through to her and hoped it hadn't effected her the same as it had done him. His fathers would be even more furious if his actions hurt her too. He watched Charon as the god moved the boat to land, "Thank you Charon. I try to keep any blame off you. This was my own fault after all. Thank you for helping and I will be sure to come annoy you as soon as I am free to leave my room again", he replied as he stepped off the boat and used the shadows to travel back to his home.
